About this app

toolshare is a local tool rental and party rental marketplace for Toronto and the GTA. Rent what you need from people and businesses nearby, instead of buying something you'll use once.

WHAT PEOPLE RENT
Tool rental: drills, sanders, compressors, floor jacks, ladders, pressure washers.
Party rental: tents, tables, chairs, bounce castles, popcorn machines, lighting.
Camping and outdoor gear rental: tents, stoves, coolers, packs and equipment.
Plus cameras, audio gear, trailers and anything else worth renting rather than buying.

WHY RENT LOCALLY
Searching for an equipment rental near me usually means a depot across town and a full-day minimum. toolshare lists what people and small businesses in your own area already own, so pickup is close and you only pay for the time you need.

Every rental happens between people in the same community. Pickup or delivery is arranged in the app, and both sides build a rating over time.

toolshare also powers partysharerentals.com for event and party rentals, and gearsharerentals.com for camping and outdoor gear. Same account, same app, same protections.

Serving Toronto, Bradford, Barrie, Newmarket, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Brampton and across the GTA.
