Why Use the Values Visualizer?
Values can explain our behavior and attitudes. One of the reasons why we may be satisfied with one employer but feel uncomfortable with another employer could be hidden within our values. At Career Changeover, we believe that understanding our own values and reflecting on employer’s values may help navigate career development. Therefore, we created the Values Visualizer that will help you visualize your personal values, understand your current or prospective employers’ values, and compare the results.
What is the Values Visualizer?
The Schwartz Theory of Basic Human Values developed by Shalom Schwartz identifies 10 fundamental motivational values that are universally recognized. Schwartz developed a value survey following this theory that measures the degree to which each value motivates a person by breaking down each value into lower-level beliefs. The results are then graphed on a radar chart to portray the dynamic relationships among the 10 distinct values. The survey provided is an adapted version of the Schwartz Value Survey.

What's new
Major changes to the app screens and navigation. Now, users can choose an activity from the Home screen - check out a tutorial, start a survey, or view results. In the survey, users are able to choose a set of questions tailored for a prospective or current employer. In the results, a radar diagram is replaced with a bar chart. Also, multiple surveys can be saved.
