About this app

The free caring@home app supports health professionals providing palliative care for an Aboriginal or/or Torres Strait Islander person at home. The app enables health professionals to easily view, download or print the suite of free and best-practice caring@home resources. The resources enable health professionals to teach families and carers to help manage their loved one's symptoms at home, including by giving subcutaneous medicines. The app can be used offline, making it ideal for health professionals working in rural or remote parts of Australia without reliable internet coverage.
The app has been produced by Brisbane South Palliative Care Collaborative (BSPCC) as part of the caring@home for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Families project. caring@home is funded by the Australian Government and conducted by a consortium led by BSPCC.
