The Douay-Rheims Bible is an English translation from the Latin Vulgate Bible, the official Bible of the Catholic Church used in papal masses. It's commonly known as Douay Bible free. The name is based in the fact that the translation was produced at the English College at Douay. The College has migrated to Rheims and editions were printed there as well.

Douay and Rheims are English spellings of the French towns of Douai and Reims. This Bible date to 1582 for the New Testament and 1609 for the Old Testament.

Now ads start on it automatically so I can't even read your Bible anymore. also your app for some reason is skipping the first few words when on earbuds. Even when you're not on earbuds when it starts to use the speech element it skips almost a full sentence or so. also it is not pronouncing a lot of the names correctly.

I would love your app, but I can't get to it half the time. Because commercials override it period plus it says that I've been hacked one of the commercials. I finally figured out it wasn't real said that I've been hacked. I think as a Bible and being Christian, you need to watch what ADS you put on with these, because that's inappropriate to some people are gonna really think they got hacked. I originally thought that's what happened, I didn't realize it was a an ad.
