The Aquascape Smart Control App lets you control outdoor lighting, ponds, waterfalls, and fountains from anywhere at any time using your smartphone or tablet. Outdoor living has never been easier!

Use the app to:

- control the flow of adjustable flow pond pumps
- turn adjustable flow pond pumps off and on, as needed
- schedule color-changing lights to coincide with time of day
- select the color of lights in your landscape or water feature when using color-changing lights
- monitor power consumption to control energy costs

I have had Aquascape products for over 5 years. The pond pump controller recently burned out due to a water leak, so I replaced it with a newer generation controller. The written and online instructions were not that great. Several key steps were missing. When trying to connect the controller to wifi, there is a timeout of about 30 seconds after which you need to do a double reset of the controller. Also, there is a cable retainer with no instructions for its use.

Pairing absolutely does not correspond to the manual. When you plug it in it will go into pairing mode as the blue light on the top left will show. Tell it which Wi-Fi to get on as you add a device and it will work. You may have to fiddle with it whether the switch is in the 1 or 0 position as well as non-intuitive pairing with your phone.

Difficult to pair as instructions not completely clear. Data on app is sub par. Most apps on devices like this provide hour by hour tracking. This app only gives a line graph but does not allow the user to point to any time on the graph to get actual temperature at a specific time. Seems an easy enough feature to add so I'm surprised that it wasn't included.
