Codewerk creates and scans QR codes and barcodes directly on your device. No ads, no account and no internet needed – right from the first launch.

QR CODES FOR EVERYDAY USE
Create codes for text, web links, Wi-Fi details, emails and phone numbers. Adjust the foreground, background, size and error correction. The preview shows your code and the actual PNG dimensions.

CREATE BARCODES
Choose Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 39 or ITF-14. Format hints help you enter valid content. Supported numeric formats can add or validate the check digit. Codewerk generates the graphic; it does not issue product numbers or look up products and prices.

SCAN WITH YOUR CAMERA
Read QR codes, Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec. Turn on the torch when needed, if your device supports it.

Results first appear as plain text. Copy the content or use it to create a new QR code. Detected web links open in your external browser only when you explicitly choose to open them.

SAVE PNG OR SVG FILES
Export your codes as PNG images or scalable SVG files. Choose a filename and destination using Android's save dialog. Static codes do not rely on a Codewerk server and have no built-in expiry date. A web link remains usable while its destination is available.

YOUR CONTENT STAYS WITH YOU
Generation and recognition happen locally. Codewerk has no internet permission, analytics SDKs or scan history. Camera access is requested only when you start scanning; camera frames are not saved. Exported codes contain your entered information, which can be read by anyone who scans them.

Available in English and German. Requires Android 10 or newer. A camera is needed for scanning, but not for creating or exporting codes.
