GO posts the platform for a Union Station departure about nine minutes before it leaves. If you are coming up from the subway, or waiting in the York Concourse, that is not much time to cross the station.
This app shows the platform a train is likely to use, worked out from that specific train's own recent departures, and it is careful to tell you which is which:
• Green means GO has announced it. That is their answer, not ours. • Yellow means we are guessing. Every predicted platform is labelled "predicted — not confirmed" and carries the reason it is only an estimate. • TBD means we will not guess. When the history is not strong enough, the app says nothing rather than showing you a number it does not trust.
Track a train and the platform appears on your lock screen the moment GO announces it, so you do not have to keep unlocking your phone to check. The tracker stops on its own once the train has gone.
Predicted platforms are estimates. They are not provided by GO Transit and have not been announced. Always check the official platform displays and confirm the train's line, time and destination before boarding.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. The app does not ask for your location and has no way to know who you are.
