About this app

RunTracker records your run and keeps the people you trust in the loop – especially on early mornings, late evenings and quiet roads.

TRACK YOUR RUN
Time, distance and average pace, with your route drawn on the map. The clock starts when you actually set off, not when you tap Start, so pocketing your phone does not slow your pace. Save a route you run often and pick it next time.

AN ALARM THAT CANNOT GO OFF BY ACCIDENT
Press and hold for three seconds and your nominated contacts are emailed your position, the time and a map link. After it fires, everything is a plain tap.

IT NOTICES WHEN YOU CANNOT
Set the time you expect to be back. If you are not, or if you stop moving for longer than you chose, or leave the route you picked, the app asks you first. Answer with one tap. Only if you do not answer within five minutes are your contacts emailed, with your last known position. Because this runs on our server, it still works if your phone's battery dies.

A LIVE LINK FOR THE PEOPLE AT HOME
Send a private tracking link and someone can follow your run in any browser, with no app and no account. You can revoke it at any time.

BUILT FOR PATCHY SIGNAL
Your run keeps recording through tunnels and dead spots and catches up when signal returns. Nothing is lost.

YOUR DATA
Location is recorded only while a run is active, with a notification the whole time. No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking across other apps. Delete a run, or your whole account, whenever you like.
