About this app

Unlim is a peer-to-peer tunnel that lets two or more devices reach each other directly over the internet, even when they are behind home routers, mobile data, or restrictive Wi-Fi. No server rental, no port forwarding, no subscription.

One side opens a session and shares a short key. The other side enters the key and joins. A short signalling exchange happens through our coordination server, then traffic flows directly between the devices encrypted end-to-end and never proxied through us.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT

• Bridge a local-network service to a friend on a different network
• Reach a service running on one of your own devices from outside the house
• Connect to LAN-style multiplayer experiences across the internet
(for example, Minecraft Bedrock LAN works out of the box — open your
world to LAN inside the game, share the Unlim key, your friend joins)
• Anything else that works on a local network and can use a port

Unlim does not know what you are running on top of the tunnel. It only
moves bytes between the devices you authorise.

HOW IT WORKS

Unlim performs NAT traversal and signalling so your phone can talk
directly to the other device. The signalling step uses a short
exchange with our coordination server to discover each side's network
address; once both sides know how to reach each other, the actual
data flows peer-to-peer. Your content, your account, and the service
you bridge stay on your device — Unlim never touches them.

PERMISSIONS

Unlim only requests what it strictly needs:
• Internet — the entire app is a network tool
• Network state — to show you whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data
• Foreground service — to keep the tunnel alive while you use it
• Notifications — to show that the tunnel is running

It does NOT request access to contacts, location, storage, camera,
microphone, SMS, calendars, Bluetooth, accounts, or installed apps.

REQUIREMENTS

• Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later
• An internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile)
• Someone on the other end running Unlim (this app, our desktop app,
or one of our integrations)

PRIVACY

We do not collect personal information. We do not show ads. We do not
sell or share any data. Your content stays on your device. The only
thing our servers see is short-lived signalling metadata used to
establish the peer-to-peer connection. Full details:
