BCV TWINT is a free app for making payments easily and securely with your smartphone. It’s perfect for sending money to friends, making in-store and online purchases, paying for train tickets or parking, and donating to a charity. And new features are added regularly.
What can you do with BCV TWINT?
- Make contactless payments in stores in Switzerland with TWINT-compatible payment terminals
- Make online purchases on websites that accept TWINT
- Send money to people who use TWINT and receive money from them
- Buy now and pay later (within 30 days) at participating stores
BCV TWINT offers a range of great features:
- Your TWINT account is linked directly to your BCV account, so you have no bills or paperwork to deal with.
- Your payments can be made from either your BCV account or credit card.
- You can automatically pay with BCV TWINT on participating retailers’ websites and apps (such as SBB, Swisscom, and Migros) by saving BCV TWINT as your preferred payment method.
- You can link your customer loyalty cards (such as your Supercard, Cumulus card, or Jelmoli card) to BCV TWINT, to avoid carrying them with you.
- You can pay for parking without going to the meter, and get reimbursed for the remaining time if you leave early.
- You can get exclusive deals and special offers every week (“super deals”).
- You can make donations to a number of charities.
- You can pay for gas by scanning the QR code at the pump.
- You can compare and subscribe to mobile phone plans.
- You can buy or gift digital vouchers for a wide range of stores.

To use BCV TWINT, you must:
- be at least 7 years old
- be an individual (businesses are not allowed)
- have an eligible account (such as a current or joint account), with individual signing authority
- have BCV Mobile on your smartphone and be able to log into it
- download BCV TWINT from a Swiss app store
- have a Swiss mobile phone number
BCV TWINT is for private use only. It cannot be used by merchants to receive payments via the send money feature.
