Highly recommended. One of the best (of the free) audio players, if not the best. (Almost) Perfect! Clean and simple interface. Meaningful features focused on what is really important without falling for gimmicks and the everything-social-pandemic. Add to this: NO ADS, FREE / OPEN SOURCE CODE, and FREE OF COST - it cannot get much better than this. The main feature I find missing most, though, is lyrics integration 🙏🏼. Thank you!

This app has been my preferred mp3 player for many years. However my on new phone (LG-V35 Thinq running Android 8.0) the app won't start. I select Vanilla Music as the player I want to use and nothing happens. It still works great on my old phones (HTC One M8 & Samsung devices). I would gladly rate it a 5 if it would work on my new phone. In the meantime I continue to use it on my old phones and hope for a fix to this issue.

Works great, plays all file formats I throw at it (FLAC, MP3, ogg, ect.) and stores playlists by their file path so I don't have to remake my playlists when I delete my music folders and add new songs. Incredibly efficient, has tons of features, loads almost instantly, and the UI is great. IT uses vector images, so the app is incredibly small, too!
