QMR reads 2D and linear barcodes reliably – even where other scanners give up: on metal, glass, and direct-marked parts. And QMR generates production-ready codes, too.

Two improvements in one update.
The generator now handles the full control-character catalogue: \F FNC1, \G GS, \R RS, \S US, \E EOT, plus \t \n \r \0 \a \b \v \f \e and \xHH for arbitrary bytes. With \F at the very start you get a true GS1 Data Matrix carrying FNC1 in the first codeword. Off by default.
QMR also recognises what a code contains: passkeys (FIDO), 2FA with a warning, Wi-Fi with password copying, contacts, events, places, SMS, e-mail.
