Why Pompeii?

Although the eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroyed the city in 79 AD and claimed many lives, it also preserved a part of Roman history for future generations. Discover this ancient city like never before.

Created by the Institut Le Rosey:

A collaborative project developed under the direction of a Pompeii expert, with the participation of students — who composed the original music and contributed to game design, graphic design, and testing — and produced by DNA Studios.

The sole purpose of the game is to promote history in a fun and engaging way. Le Rosey is proud to have created this game to make it available to all curious minds, young and old, who wish to discover Pompeii while learning and having fun.

An educational app not a game. I was keen on learning about ancient Rome yet half the info is found in sound files and you could not read it. Mute also didn't work so the app is noisy at all times. It's not a game and not fun to play. Could be fun if we get to read all and don't need to read dialogue in single lines. Give me all text! Probably good for kids? Just too slow for adults.

Awesome experience done a good job.Its an inspiration for other developers to create history based games so that we remember past histories,heroes,gods, culture and their life.I have enjoyed the game a lot.I thank the whole team for giving me a pleasant experience and learning.I hope this game will reach many gamers as well and help them to be inspired by your work.
