About this app

Save time at the border with the official Swiss customs app. Activ can be used for commercial goods trade. Designed for transport companies and drivers, the app facilitates and speeds up border crossings.

FOR TRANSIT

The steps to be performed by the driver are very simple: they simply enter the vehicle's number plate details and scan the T1/T2 (MRN) documents using their smartphone camera. The driver can then report to the border crossing and show the result on the smartphone screen to the customs officers.

FOR EXPORT

With remote loading function (option recommended by the FOCBS): a link containing the transport declaration is sent directly to the driver's smartphone. The driver confirms the vehicle's number plate details, and can then start their journey. At the border, the driver only needs to show the result on the smartphone screen.

With DTS scan function: the driver scans the digital transport slip (DTS) with their smartphone and then enters the vehicle's number plate details. They can then start their journey and show the result on the smartphone screen when they cross the border.

The Activ application is free. A mobile connection is the only thing needed to use the application.
