About this app

This app is designed for professional drivers whose employer operates a Galaxit RouPa server. The app cannot be used without an assigned user account on such a server.

After logging in, the app displays the day's routes. A route is started with a tap, and the app then guides the driver to the first stop and through each subsequent point. During the drive, the route is recorded every second. If the driver has enabled sharing in the settings, dispatch can also see the current position in real time.

Navigation takes into account the vehicle selected in the profile. If a truck is selected, height, width, weight, and axle load are included in the route calculation.

Multiple routes can be combined into a single tour. The app automatically guides the driver from the endpoint of one route to the start of the next, or to a waste disposal site along the way.

Reports can be created directly from the app—for example, about traffic jams, breakdowns, or maintenance needs. A photo and address are attached and transmitted to the app's server.

Without an internet connection, the app stores all recordings and reports locally and transmits them as soon as a connection is available again. Maps and recently loaded lists remain viewable offline.

Optionally, the app can be protected by fingerprint or PIN.

Requirements
— User account on a Galaxit RouPa server (obtained through your administrator).

— Android 7.0 or later.

— Location access, even in the background—this is necessary for the app to record your route while driving.

— Camera access for attaching photos to messages.

Data Privacy
