Prompt searches with a suitable dog are an essential duty. This must be ensured by every hunting company in the canton of Zurich in accordance with the legal and hunting ethical principles. Any wild animal that is legally huntable, has had an accident, is sick or has been shot at and is on the run must be tracked down promptly and professionally.
The Zurich Fisheries and Hunting Administration, the JagdZurich Association and the Zurich Hunting Supervision Association promote and support the search teams in practical use in their important and animal welfare-relevant work for the benefit of wild animals. The app is supervised by a specialist commission appointed by the sponsor.
The expert commission is responsible for managing user data and other relevant data within the app. The sponsorship has no access to the user data and assumes no responsibility for its processing by the expert commission.
The Canton of Zurich, the JagdZürich Association and the Zurich Hunting Supervisory Association are responsible for the provision, updating and accuracy of the documents and the hunting calendar.
The Canton of Zurich as well as the JagdZürich Association and the Zurich Hunting Supervisory Association provide content, but are not the operators of the app. The app is not operated by any government agency and does not constitute an official government application.
