Zurich Business Climate Platform
Since their launch, the climate platform for business in the Basel region (founded in 2014) and the climate platform for business in Zurich (founded in 2017) have become respected networks for business models for sustainable management in the economic area of northwestern Switzerland and Zurich. More than 4,500 personalities from over 800 different companies have taken part in 27 business lunches in Basel and Zurich so far. The YouTube films with the content of the presentations at the 15 live stream business lunches in 2020 and 2021 have been clicked on more than 12,000 times so far. All of this was made possible thanks to the 22 partners of the business climate platform of the Basel region and the 30 partners of the Zurich business climate platform. The heart of the business climate platform are the four business lunches per year in Basel and Zurich, which visitors can attend free of charge. Companies invite you to take a look behind the scenes at lunchtime. The exchange is company-oriented and specific to the topics of resource and energy efficiency and decarbonization. Above all, the platform serves to let companies be inspired by other companies. Because projects and business models that have been tried and tested in practice are presented, the participants have the opportunity to find out (especially) about stumbling blocks and hurdles. All projects presented by the companies are realized in a competitive environment. This ensures that, in addition to ecological sustainability, economic and social sustainability is also addressed.
