I really appreciate how they didn't give me any trouble with refunding when their system screwed up and caused me to be unfairly billed - hence 2 stars, not just 1 star. I'm now taking a break, I stopped subscribing for the first time, because I don't have the time and energy to deal with such unreliable commuting infrastructure. It's too much of a gamble each time. Hopefully it will be more reliable next year? Then I'll try again, and subscribe if they've fixed it properly.

I’ve been using Publibike regularly for years, because it makes my commute in Bern much faster than taking the bus. The old app always worked really well and it was easy to unlock the bikes. Since the new app/system was introduced, it rarely works anymore. Most of the time, the bikes do not unlock. I really dont understand what has happened, because the old system worked really well. I hope they fix it.

Used to be a good service. Now the app shows random numbers for bikes at stations so you can't rely there is actually a bike there. Bikes are often broken. Refunding through the app or chat bot is purposefully complicated so you give up before you reach the end. Happy to see if another provider can offer a better service, would gladly switch
