Since the new locks and app are in place, in became very unreliable. Closing the bike fails often which blocks you several days from using the app until they have done a troubleshooting on the bike. For some reason some of the stations work for closing but then the bike can't be used anymore. therefore 30bikes at one station but only 2 or 3 can be opened. Only positive is the new motor/battery which is quite powerful. Sadly, one more example of enshittification.

Today the first bike I tried to unlock didn't unlock, so I had to unlock a second, so I got billed for a second bike. My attempt to report the problem, that I used only one bike, obtained "There was an error on the server. Please try again later." These bikes seem to have issues more than 50% of the time. Do they need SREs? (Or better software engineering?)

* very slow at first startup (although improved, but still slow) * shows bikes where there are none * bikes don't open at first try (sometimes not at all) * bikes don't close or take extremely long to do so * gps doesn't work? how does it work? they don't even know where their bikes are... * "support" is just a useless chatbot. took me ages to find the phone number. once you find it, they at least are very helpful!
