About this app

SOBE Emergency is the emergency and alert app for employees of an organization—schools, care homes, businesses with multiple locations. The app is used with an account that the organization sets up for its employees; there is no public registration.

WHAT THE APP CAN DO

• SOS with one tap: Call for help to first responders and security at your location—even directly from the home screen widget with two taps, without opening the app.

• Report an incident: Fire, medical emergency, threat, evacuation, and other scenarios defined by the organization. The app alerts the designated groups via push notification, SMS, and voice call and escalates automatically if no one acknowledges.

• Receive an alert: Critical notification with sound, even on muted devices, step-by-step instructions, and confirmation with a single tap.

• Situation reports and all-clear: The person in charge informs all involved; the all-clear message outlines the next steps.

• Emergency numbers: 144, 118, 117, and the organization's numbers, selectable with a single tap – also from the widget.

• Working alone: ​​Timer for working alone; if it expires without the person reporting, an automatic alert is triggered.

• Location detection (optional, with your consent): The app detects which organizational location you are at so that alerts reach the people on site. Only the location name is transmitted, never a GPS coordinate.
