About this app

YouMetry turns your phone into a trackside console: stream your session live on YouTube with gauges burned in, time your laps, measure your motorcycle lean angle and record your track data for editing.

LIVE ON YOUTUBE
Go live on YouTube straight from the phone, no computer needed. The phone camera, or a USB camera (Osmo in webcam mode, GoPro behind an HDMI capture box), films; YouMetry draws speed, rpm, lap timer, lean angle and track map on top. Your viewers follow the lap like on TV. 480p, 720p or 1080p, sound from the phone or the camera, and a Share button that sends the stream link to your friends.

The phone records the session, the computer makes the video. Drop the file next to your footage in YouMetry: it lines itself up on the sync flash, the gauges are burned in up to 4K, and the ride replays in 3D over real terrain.

RECORD YOUR TRACK DATA, WITH OR WITHOUT A LIVE STREAM
REC starts the session: GPS position, speed, lap timer, motorcycle lean angle and OBD channels, ten times per second. STOP hands you the file through the share sheet, ready for the computer. It uses the SRT format of DJI drones, which other software can read too.

VIDEO SYNC BY FLASH
Film the Sync screen with your camera: a white flash fires every thirty seconds, and every flash is written into the file. YouMetry then finds the flashes in the footage and aligns the video to within a few hundredths of a second.

MEASURED MOTORCYCLE LEAN ANGLE
With the bike upright, tap the indicator to set zero. The phone's sensors then measure the real angle in every corner, shown live and recorded with your track data.

THE LAP TIMER
A big timer readable at a glance, designed for gloves: START, LAP, FINISH. The latest laps stay on screen, with the best one highlighted.

YOUR VEHICLE'S DATA
Pair a Bluetooth Low Energy OBD-II adapter (Vgate iCar Pro, OBDLink CX, Veepeak BLE+): rpm, speed, temperatures and throttle in real time, in the stream and in the file.

BUILT FOR THE TRACK
No account, no ads, no data collection. The screen stays on and Android's bars get out of the way during the session.
