About this app
GASP! is your city's hyperlocal feed, in real time.
Open the app and see what's actually happening around you right now: events, alerts, reports and neighborhood vibes — sorted by distance and confirmed by people close enough to know.
No algorithm that has no idea what's happening on your street. No chaotic group chats with hundreds of useless messages. Just your area, as it happens.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Discover threads near you, sorted by distance
• Follow updates in real time
• Confirm events and alerts to help your neighbors
• Open a thread and join the conversation
• See everything on the neighborhood map
• Stay anonymous: take part without exposing yourself
REAL EXAMPLES
• "Smoke near the station" — 4 confirmations
• "Music in the square" — 23 messages
• "Fire on Via Torino" — 6 confirmations
• "Local market" — happening now
WHY GASP
Your community knows things no algorithm ever will. GASP brings them together in one place, in real time, near you.
Live the city, as it happens.
Privacy: we use your approximate location only to show you relevant content. Policy: gasp.chat/privacy
