Dear Samsung Galaxy user

Your device was delivered with the OS Android 2.1. This version of the OS contains some small bugs which among others also affect the ChessBase Online App.

Solution:
- Upgrade the OS to version 2.2 or 2.3
- Delete the file „greatgames.pgn“ from the folder „ChessBase“ on your smart card. The ChessBase App will automatically create the file at program start again.

Ratings and reviews

This app would be much better if it doesn't check the Licence everytime we open the app. Also the front and back button is too small and is annoying to handle. And, Last but not least, in the opening section, there is no opening names on top of the board, it would be very helpful if it shows the opening name, that way we could research more about the position with the references and such. Thanks !

Openings need variation names! Forward and back buttons too close! Need more annotated games! Need to be quicker about uploading past games. My opponent played a game 2 months ago and he is a 2150...it is not on the chessbase app. You should have more chess learning and training tools here! Label the buttons! Make the search function have more parameters such as searching for all games by so and so with the Keres Attack. YOU HAVE TO ADD DETAILED VARIATION NAMES! Otherwise a good program.

It's a bad experience to use this software. It spoils the name of Chessbase. The flip and arrow buttons are together. Half the time i am flipping the boards. Next issue is that there is no way for me to know if it's white or black to move. The inductor always shows that ots white to move. Lastly there is no response from the developers. I am sure that they will do nothing.
