About this app

Explora CONICYT Project for the Assessment and Dissemination of Science and Technology 2018 - 2019, of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation of Chile, carried out by the Caserta Foundation.

It is based on the need to link people with the value of nature in emblematic places, highlighting the hiking experiences through information on species, their relationships and geological landmarks, in natural reserves in Chile.

It allows users to enhance their travel experience, using augmented reality technology and geolocation to know the biodiversity, geological landmarks and representative ecosystemic interactions of the territory and collaborate in the registry of sightings and observations of flora and fauna of the place.

By downloading it you will be able to learn more about the associated parks and discover the biodiversity in their habitat.
It is specially designed to be used in the territory and you can understand, on the ground, how species live and the relationships that exist between living beings and their environment.

Access to the camera is required to scan codes and labels, and assist in the species registry. In order to help in locating the park, path or route in the park and the geographical reference of the species registry that you make through the blog, the application requests permission to know your location.
Only gender and age data will be requested since it is a project oriented to the school sector with state funding, therefore, it is required to know its scope.
Its best use is visiting the associated parks or printing the QR codes and Tags to scan them and see the animations and species cards.

On the website www.territoriar.cl you can find information about the parks, the species and, if you are a teacher, recommendations to use them in the educational outings that you program.

Visit and learn in the nature of Chile.
