About this app

Centela is the app that security guards and supervisors use to record what happens on their shift. It includes the time, location, and a photo, even without a signal.

Track the entry and exit of people and vehicles, perform point-by-point patrols, record shift times, and create a daily log—all from your phone and without relying on coverage.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH CENTELA

• Access control: Record who enters and exits, both people and vehicles, with photos and locations.

• QR code patrols: Scan the code at each checkpoint to record the time and who was present.

• Shifts: Clock in and out, and keep your complete history.

• Shift log: Write down what happened and at what time, without the hassle of a notebook that gets wet or lost.

• Facility chat: Communicate with your team without leaving the app.

WORKS OFF-SITE

In a basement, on a floor, or on a path without coverage, the app doesn't stop working. What you record is saved instantly on your phone and syncs automatically when the connection is restored. Nothing is lost or duplicated: each entry is only recorded once.

If something is pending, you'll see it on a screen that tells you what's missing and why. You don't have to guess if your turn has arrived.

IT DOESN'T STAY ON YOUR PHONE

When there's a connection, what you record appears on the Centela web panel: your supervisor can see it without having to call you, and the company that contracted the service can see their assigned data for their facility. This panel opens in a web browser. This app is for fieldwork.

WHO IS IT FOR?

• Private security companies that need to know what happened at each facility without having to call the guard to ask.

• Companies with their own guards, concierges, or doormen: a condominium, a school, a factory, a warehouse. The doorman and concierge no longer have to write things down in a notebook.

• Self-employed individuals who need to keep a record of their activities.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If your workplace already uses Centela, log in with the account they provided. If not, create your own account within the app. Try it free for 14 days without paying or providing your credit card information.

TO BE CLEAR

Centela is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide security services, does not authorize anyone to provide them, and does not consult official records from any authority.

PERMISSIONS

• Camera: for taking the access photo and scanning QR codes at checkpoints.

• Location while using the app: to record where each entry occurred.

The app explains the purpose of each permission before requesting it. If you decline, you can still record. Centela does not use location services in the background.

SUBSCRIPTION

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled, and can be canceled through your account settings in the app store. If you stop paying, nothing is deleted: you can continue viewing and exporting your saved data.

What’s new

Arreglamos una falla que dejaba la pantalla en blanco al cambiar de menú, y que obligaba a tocar otra sección para que apareciera el contenido. También corregimos el caso en que, sin señal, no se podían registrar entradas ni salidas después de aceptar el contrato de tratamiento de datos. En Monitoreo las acciones de registrar quedaron arriba, a la vista, y los textos previos a los permisos son más claros sobre para qué se usa cada uno.
