About this app

Libre Pedal is your co-pilot on every pedal stroke. It guides you with voice commands like Waze, but designed for bicycles, and connects you with a real community of cyclists who report water sources, repair shops, viewpoints, and hazards along the way.

🗣️ PISTERO: YOUR AI-POWERED CO-PILOT
Pistero calculates the route and alerts you to each turn with a natural voice, so you don't have to look at your phone. But it's not just a talking GPS: ask it anything—about cycling, your trip, how to use the app, or anything else—and it will answer. Choose its personality (friendly, adventurous, coach, relaxed, humorous, or tour guide), and it will warn you BEFORE you reach steep climbs or rain, not after.

🧭 A COMPANION, NOT JUST A TOOL
Everything revolves around the Sphere: your central hub for accessing the app, always just a tap away. Type or dictate your destination and start riding. You can plan trips with multiple stops.

🌎 LIVE COMMUNITY MAP
Real satellite view, topographic layer, and 3D navigation. More than 4,000 real points of interest throughout Chile—water sources, bike repair shops, and viewpoints—plus more added by the community. Report hazards on the road (potholes, loose animals, road closures), and mark a direct point on the map by pressing and holding, even if it doesn't have a specific direction.

🛡️ ROAD SAFETY
- Fall detection: If there's a hard impact followed by immobility, the app will ask if you're okay and can send an alert.

- Live tracking: Share a temporary link so someone can follow you in real time while you ride.

- SOS button to alert your emergency contacts.

- Report the type of surface and difficulty of each route.

🏆 PROGRESS AND COMMUNITY
- Complete statistics: distance, calories, average and maximum speed, and your actual ranking.

- Export your routes in GPX format to use on Strava, Komoot, or other apps.

- Segments with leaderboards and your personal best times.

- Challenges and seasons that reward you with Darma points.

- Wrapped annual summary of everything you rode during the year.

- Connect your heart rate monitor or power meter via Bluetooth.

- Customize your own character: more than 18 helmets, colors, and accessories. Each cyclist appears on the map with their own helmet, not a generic pin.

🔧 MACGYVER WORKSHOP
17 tricks to repair your bike with whatever you have on hand if you get a flat tire or your chain comes off mid-ride. You can add your own tricks for the community.

🥾 ALSO FOR TREKKING AND MOTORCYCLE/CAR TRIPS
Libre Pedal was born for cycling, but Pistero is just as useful whether you're hiking or traveling by motorcycle or car: change the activity mode and route, and the language and tips will adapt.

🔒 OUR COMMITMENT
Libre Pedal is built with real data, without fake users or inflated figures. Your location on the community map is shared approximately, never exactly, and you can activate ghost mode when you want to remain invisible. The app's essential features—navigation, map, community, security, and statistics—are and will remain free.

Made in Chile, designed for all of Latin America. Hit the road with Pistero.
