About this app

ComicLuxe is a beautiful, fast reader for the comics, manga and graphic novels you already own.

Add your files and read them in a clean, distraction-free reader built for Android phones and tablets.

READ EVERY FORMAT
• CBZ and ZIP
• CBR and RAR
• CB7 and 7z
• CBT and TAR
• PDF
• EPUB (image-based comics)

MADE FOR COMICS AND MANGA
• Left-to-right for comics, right-to-left for manga
• Auto detection from the manga flag inside the file (ComicInfo.xml)
• Continuous vertical scroll for webtoons and long strips
• Double-page spreads, turned on automatically on tablets
• Pinch to zoom, double-tap to zoom in and out
• Swipe to turn pages; tap the screen to show or hide the controls
• Jump to any page with the slider

TRANSLATE ON YOUR DEVICE
• Long-press any speech balloon and its translation appears at the foot of the page
• Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Latin-script languages as the source
• Translates into English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian and more
• Pages are processed on your device; only the language models (about 30 MB each) are downloaded, and only when you agree
• Best on horizontal lettering; vertical Japanese text and stylised fonts can be misread

A LIBRARY THAT FEELS GOOD
• Cover grid with reading progress on every book
• Open files straight from your file manager, downloads or messages with "Open with"
• Pick up where you left off: your page is saved for each comic
• "Continue reading" shelf, search and sorting
• Light, dark or system theme with a refined deep-green design

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts and no cloud
• Your files stay on your device and are read in place
• A small banner ad in the library and settings keeps the app free; there are no ads while you read
• Translation runs on your device; the internet is only used for ads and for downloading language models
• No content is included or distributed: ComicLuxe only opens files you add yourself

Available in English and Spanish.

ComicLuxe does not provide, host or link to any comics or manga. Please read only content you own or have the right to read.
