About this app

Rutier is the system a transportation company uses to manage its fleet's daily operations: what route each driver took, with which vehicle, with what backup, and how much they are owed at the end of the period.

It replaces notebooks, messaging groups, and end-of-month spreadsheets with a record created during the workday.

FOR THE DRIVER
• Start and end routes with a single button.

• Record each route with a photo of the load, the operation, and the vehicle.

• Report daily incidents—returns, thefts, uncollected payments—with photographic evidence.

• View trip history and earnings for the period before closing.

• See at any time whether they are sharing their location and can disable it.

FOR THE OFFICE
• Approve or reject routes and incoming updates.

• View on a map which vehicles are currently on their routes.

• Decide whether an incident is paid or deducted, without entering amounts with signs.
• Closes settlements for the period and marks them as paid.

• Registers drivers and vehicles, and maintains rates per operation.

ABOUT BACKGROUND LOCATION TRACKING
Rutier records the driver's route only while a trip is in progress. Not before tapping "Start Route," and not after completing it. During this time, tracking continues even if the screen is locked, because an eight-hour shift would be recorded as a two-minute trip if the driver stopped.

While this is happening, the application displays it clearly on the screen and maintains a constant notification. The driver can withdraw their consent at any time from their profile. The trip is automatically deleted after 30 days and is only visible to the company that provided the account, for coordinating operations and validating routes.

HOW TO OBTAIN AN ACCOUNT
Rutier is contracted by transportation companies. Accounts are issued by the company to its staff, just like a corporate email: there is no public record from the application. The app has no in-app purchases and doesn't charge drivers anything.
