Aria2Down is a modern download manager for Android, powered by the proven aria2 engine. Add links in seconds, manage your queue with a clean Material Design interface, and keep downloads running reliably in the background.
WHY ARIA2DOWN?
• Built-in aria2 — no separate aria2c app or manual setup on your phone
• Same powerful core used on desktops and servers: multi-connection, resume, and queue control
• Optional Remote RPC mode to control aria2 on your NAS, PC, or home server
DOWNLOAD WHAT YOU NEED
• HTTP / HTTPS / FTP links
• Magnet links and .torrent files
• Metalink (.metalink) for multi-source downloads
• Multiple URLs at once (paste or share several links)
SEND LINKS FROM OTHER APPS
• Open magnet: links in your browser and pick Aria2Down
• Share a URL or text from any app → Aria2Down
• Open .torrent / .metalink files from file managers
• Custom links: aria2down://add?uri=…
FULL TASK CONTROL
• Active, waiting, completed, stopped, and local history tabs
• Pause, resume, retry, and remove tasks
• Search by name or GID
• Per-task details: speed, progress, connections, and BitTorrent peer info
• Choose which files to download from a torrent
STAY IN CONTROL
• Global and per-task speed limits
• Max concurrent downloads and connections per server
• Default download folder with optional per-task override
• Import / export settings (JSON) for backup or another device
REMOTE RPC (OPTIONAL)
Point Aria2Down at an existing aria2 JSON-RPC endpoint (e.g. on a NAS or Raspberry Pi). Manage that server’s queue from your phone without using local storage for the engine.
BACKGROUND DOWNLOADS
When enabled, a low-priority foreground notification helps the system keep the download engine alive while you switch apps. You stay in control via Settings.
POLISHED EXPERIENCE
• Material 3 UI with light, dark, and system themes
• Custom accent colors
• English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, and more languages
• Pull to refresh and swipe actions on the task list
Aria2Down is open-source software built with Flutter. BitTorrent and other protocols are provided for legitimate content you are authorized to download. You are responsible for complying with local laws and the terms of the sites you use.
