About this app

Mind Maps Ultra — mind mapping, outlines, and visual thinking

Mind Maps Ultra is a focused mind map editor and outline tool for capturing ideas, structuring study notes, planning projects, and turning topics into clear visuals. Build concept maps and hierarchies on an infinite canvas, then share or archive your work in the formats you already use.

Plan and brainstorm
Organize thoughts from a central topic, branch freely, and refine structure as you go. Switch between layout modes (including logical structure, classic mind map, organization and catalog layouts, and fishbone) so the same content fits how you think and present.

Open files you already have
Import XMind (ZIP-based workbooks with content.json), FreeMind / Freeplane (.mm), Markdown lists and indented outlines, OPML, plain text where applicable, and JSON in the app’s full-document format. Open supported files from your device or cloud folders when your file manager sends them to the app.

Export and share
Save or share PNG, SVG, PDF, Markdown, plain text, HTML, OPML, JSON, PowerPoint (PPTX), and FreeMind-compatible output—handy for slides, documentation, backups, and collaboration without locking you into one ecosystem.

Work efficiently
Use the outline panel alongside the canvas, search (including replace), minimap navigation, undo/redo, and keyboard shortcuts where available. Connect related ideas with associative lines between nodes. Choose light or dark appearance to match your environment.

Localization
The interface is available in many languages, so you can use the app comfortably in your preferred language.

Ideal for
Students, teachers, writers, product and engineering teams, consultants, and anyone who wants fast, local mind mapping with strong import/export and a clean, modern UI.
