Know who's calling.
IronMark shows you who is calling before you answer, warns you about spam, and lets you block any number. It is made in South Africa by ATS, as part of the IronMesh suite.
WHO IS CALLING, BEFORE YOU ANSWER
When a number you haven't saved rings, a caller card appears over the call screen with the caller's name and whether the number has been reported as spam. If your phone won't allow the card, a notification carries the same information. Numbers IronMark doesn't know yet get a card too, so you always know it's working.
SPAM, HANDLED THE WAY YOU CHOOSE
Choose what happens when a spam number calls: warn you, ring silently, or reject the call. Report a number as spam and say why (scam, telemarketer, robocall, debt collector or other), so the next person knows what kind of call it is.
AFTER THE CALL
When the call ends, a card lets you name the number, report it as spam, block it, or set a reminder to call back, while it is fresh.
BLOCK ANY NUMBER, AND LOOK ONE UP
Block a number in one tap. Search any number to see its name and spam reports. Advanced blocking can also stop calls from other countries, hidden numbers, or anyone not in your contacts.
A PHONE APP, IF YOU WANT ONE
Dial from IronMark's keypad and find a contact by typing their name or number. Make IronMark your phone app and it answers and places your calls too, with caller ID on its own call screen. You can switch back to your usual phone app at any time.
WHERE THE NAMES COME FROM
If you choose to share your contacts, IronMark uploads the names and numbers in your address book. That is where caller names come from. Sharing is off unless you turn it on, caller ID works without it, and you can switch it off later. A name shown is the one most people agree on. IronMark says how many people named a number, and never who they were. You can suggest a better name.
YOUR NUMBER IS YOURS TO TAKE OFF
Anyone, with or without the app, can unlist their own number at api.ironmark.ironmesh.cloud/unlist, after proving it with an SMS code. IronMark then erases every name and report held for that number and never shows it again.
PRIVACY
IronMark never reads your call history. It uses Android's call screening feature, which lets it see only the number that is calling right now, and as your phone app it handles only the calls in progress. You can delete your account in the app under Me, or at api.ironmark.ironmesh.cloud/delete-account. Deleting your account deletes everything you shared.
Signing in needs a South African mobile number, for now.
See who's calling before you answer, and stop spam calls your way.
