We suggest people by CEFR level (A1–C2), what you are here for, and your interests and style. Not by age or postcode alone.

■ Local
Restaurants, cafés and spots posted by the people who actually live there. Not a tourist guide — the places they really go. Browse as a list or on the map, and save the ones you want.

■ Anonymous board
A place for the things that are hard to put your name to. Posts go up anonymously; comments carry your nickname.

■ The app handles the language barrier
Chats, profiles and posts are translated with DeepL. When the text is already in a language you read, the translate button disappears entirely. If a translation reads wrong, you can tell us right there.
The app itself is available in 한국어, English, 中文, Tiếng Việt, Français, 日本語 and Español.

■ Safety comes first
· Adults only, 19 and over. Users in Korea verify by mobile identity check; users abroad verify with passport details.
· Profile photos pass an automatic AI review, then an admin check. Photos posted to Local and the anonymous board are reviewed by an admin.
· A banned-word filter applies to chats and posts.
· An account reported by three different users is suspended while we look into it.
· Leave any conversation to clear it from your list, and block anyone you would rather not hear from.
· Every conversation opens with a safety notice.

■ Passes and Lingo
· Passes — chatting needs a pass. Basic (chat) and Translation Plus (chat + translation + unlimited profile views) come as 1-day, 7-day or 30-day. Annual Premium (translation + unlimited profile views + VIP badge + top of the feed) runs 365 days.
· Without a pass you can still browse people, read and write on Local and the anonymous board, and send likes.
· Lingo — points for unlocking full profiles, match boosters, buying passes in the Lingo Store, and sending gifts in chat. They never expire, and they are forfeited if you delete your account.
· You do not have to buy Lingo. You earn it for daily check-ins, completing your profile, identity verification, posting to Local, inviting a friend, your first conversation, and suggestions we adopt.
· Payment and refunds are covered under [Refund Policy] inside the app.
