HOW IT WORKS:

1. Your dispatcher creates a tracking session and sends you a link via SMS
2. Open the link — it launches directly in the RutaLink Driver app
3. Tap "Start Tracking" and grant location permission
4. Drive your route — passengers see your bus moving on a live map
5. When the trip ends, your dispatcher ends the session (or tap Stop Tracking)

BUILT FOR FLEET OPERATORS:

RutaLink Driver is part of the RutaLink bus ticketing platform. It connects to your company's RutaLink account so dispatchers can monitor all buses from one dashboard.

PERMISSIONS:

• Background location: Required to share your bus position with passengers while you use other apps (Google Maps, Waze) for navigation
• Foreground service: Keeps tracking active with a visible notification so Android doesn't stop it

This app is intended for commercial bus drivers working with a RutaLink-subscribed transit or charter operator.
