About this app

VINORUM METEO brings the weather and the sensors from your vineyards to your phone – live, as a history and with a forecast. A small, free tool for winegrowing. It does not want to be more than that: no subscription, no ads, no data trading.

ALL STATIONS IN ONE PLACE
• Your own weather stations and leaf wetness sensors (GEOTRACE, ADCON) side by side with public weather data (Open-Meteo)
• One station per row: current main value, today's min/max and the forecast at a glance
• Set the order yourself – press and hold, then drag

LIVE AND HISTORY
• All sensors of a station as tiles, with the current value and today's min/max
• History per sensor: drag to move the time range, zoom with the scroll wheel or +/−
• Turn the phone sideways and the chart uses the full screen

WEATHER FORECAST
• From Germany's national weather service (DWD), always from the nearest station – shown with its distance below the forecast
• Beyond DWD range, automatically from Open-Meteo
• High and low temperature, rain and an icon per day

DISEASE RISK
• An indicator per station for downy mildew (Peronospora), powdery mildew (Oidium) and botrytis (grey mould)
• Calculated from your own readings of the last 48 hours – not from a regional model
• Tap an indicator to see how the model got there: readings, hours of leaf wetness and the individual reasons
• Plus the data quality (measured with a leaf wetness sensor, estimated, or computed from the weather model) and a confidence value that drops when data is missing

Important: what you see are infection windows, not spraying advice. The professional judgement remains yours.

ON EVERY DEVICE
• On the office PC, on a tablet and on your phone out in the vineyard – the same app
• Signed in, everything stays in sync: stations, their order, credentials and settings live in your account
• Starts even offline once it is on your home screen

USABLE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
You do not need an account for public weather data. For your own stations (GEOTRACE, ADCON), the history and the disease risk you do. If you register later, the locations you created as a guest are moved into your account.

WHY FREE?
Because good weather data in the vineyard never hurt anyone. METEO is a small excerpt from VINORUM, our software for wineries – and we make that excerpt freely available. If the app makes your day easier, it has done its job.

Your GEOTRACE and ADCON credentials are stored encrypted and never leave the server in plain text. You can delete your account at any time inside the app.
