About this app

ZeitBar is the time tracking solution for hotels, restaurants, and other businesses. With the app, employees always have their working hours, schedules, and vacation information at their fingertips – and businesses can turn a tablet into a time clock.

Prerequisite: Your employer uses ZeitBar. You will receive your company ID and login details from your HR department.


TimeBar is required. FOR EMPLOYEES

• Clock in and out via mobile phone – Arrival, Break, and End (if your company has enabled this feature)

• My Times: All clockings and breaks at a glance

• My Account: Target, Actual, Overtime, and Total Balance

• My Shift Schedule: Published shifts and availability

• Request vacation and absences, view remaining vacation days

• Report corrections and forgotten breaks
• Export your own data at any time

TIMECLOCK IN THE COMPANY

• Tablet at the entrance as a time clock with PIN

• Full screen, screen stays on, app is pinned

• Displays who is currently clocked in

LEGALLY COMPLIANT

• Recording of start, end, and breaks in accordance with the Working Time Act and the Minimum Wage Act

• Legal minimum break and maximum working hours are checked

• Clocking is never blocked – suspicious entries are reviewed by the HR department

DATA SAVING

• Data is stored on servers in Germany, transmission is encrypted

• No advertising, no tracking

• Location is only recorded if your company uses location tracking – and only at the moment of clocking in. Only "in operation" or "outside" data is saved; no coordinates are stored.
