I don't know if the app can be switched to English. It can be switched to English on the NAS. Movies on the NAS are visible. When I play any of them, the video has strange flickering colored squares and artifacts, probably some kind of transcoding problem, but the sound is still audible. For me, the app is completely unusable when it comes to playing videos from the NAS.
