AQ STAR bases on bluetooth 5.0, to realize aquarium lights controlled by mobile, developers suggest to have mobile stay by lights within 20 meters.

- Pre built-in scenes: developers pre build some frequently use scenes in app: green plant, red plant, moss, bucephalandraz, swamp. Consumer can use these scenes by just one click.

- Fast setting: to set dimming, time to turn on/off, sunrise and sunset in a very quick and easy way.

- Professional setting: besides dimming, timing, the R, G, B and W 4 channels can be adjusted separately to create new CCT and color as consumer's require, totally 48 setting points in 24 hours.

- Power off memory: every time when light turns on the setting data will be same as when it turned off.

- One account serval devices: The account can be signed in on several mobile devices same time.

- Device data upload to Cloud: all datas and scenes set by consumers can be uploaded and saved to Cloud.

Ratings and reviews

Logs out frequently, sometimes I can get logged back in, sometimes I have to change the password, sometimes it only works with wifi on, sometimes it works only with wifi off. I've owned 4 of these over recent years, and Iove them when they work. But it appears they haven't been available for purchase for over a year now. I own only one now, tried to re-register with a new email address, and when that failed I tried to use my original email and login. The light is now unusable.

So the app itself is fine, it's the instructions, or complete lack of that are the problem. I was able to solve a few issues on my own, so passing on what I learned. If you are getting "unknown error", make sure your phone is NOT connected to WiFi. That should get you into the app. Then if the app can't find your light, make sure you allow the permissions the app needs in the app's settings. None of the permissions were enabled by default. Hope this helps someone!

Can not log in after the recent update. I recently bought the LEDSTAR AQ-S45 Bluetooth controlled light and I was able to use it for a month with the application. However, recently the application keeps saying unknown error every single time I try to log in to turn on the light or adjust it. This problem is making the light useless and I am considering getting a refund because it is coincidentally also my last day to request a refund on Amazon for this $100+ purchase
