I have my 1080P 2 channel dashcam I got a couple years ago and it's been working well. I recently connected with the app to download the footage and I was impressed with how fast it was. I think some people are having issues because you have to enable all the features that seem unrelated like location. You also need to choose for the phone to stay on the Wifi without the reception otherwise it keeps dropping the connection. This is a solid app and my dashcam has been a workhorse.

App is solid and is pretty easy to navigate. Haven't had any issues with it so far. The support is also very responsive for any questions regarding the camera itself which is helpful.
