An English teaching app ran by people who can't speak English. I went through the whole process of applying, I spent alot of time preparing for the interview, fixed up a nice classroom, bought all the right props, and genuinely felt I did very well. Then I received an automated message saying you have failed the interview, here is a list of potential reason why you may have failed. I tried speaking with their online support and nobody even knows how to communicate in English very well at all. 😡

So far it is my first teaching experience. I chose PalFish because I have friends who do this full time and recommended it. Its a great job for travelers. However after the first few days, clients drop away and your left on your own. In these pandemic times, there is very high demand for online work so it is hard to get bookings. Teaching on your phone and minimizing video size makes this very innovative. Hopefully they figure out a system where everyone gets a fair shot at work during pandemic.

The opportunity to get to bonuses for being reliable pay increases based on volume of classes. Mentors are regular teachers who share their experience, good training section, curriculum is engaging and interactive for the student! I have been working at Palfish full-time for 1 year and 4 months. The company I've worked for. The Con: Not receiving a response or a late response from administration team when needing assistance.
