Generally a good app, but it doesn't attempt to authenticate with SASL until too late in the connection process, so I've already failed to join registered-user-only channels by then and I get kicked off my nick. SASL authentication needs to happen before setting nick or joining channels or certain situations will fail. With this adjustment I think it would be excellent.

Hi, I wish each nick had their own color, there was a choice for the default color other than green, and away messages were grouped together like the part/join ones are. Oh and when a colored message is sent, the color goes beyond what the end of color is intended to be to the end of the message. In this case there is a "]" character where the end of the color is, so it might be interference? Thank you.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The nick colour feature is something we've been working on and will release soon. Please email help@coreirc.com with the coloured message that was sent so that we can investigate the issue.

Use it for xdcc downloads of large files, best on the play store by far. They recently fixed a download bug after I left a review about it, so they definitely have earned this 5 stars in my eyes. Unfortunately a stopped or incomplete download makes it impossible to resume in my experience, but deleting the file and starting over works. If resume was fixed this would be 6/5 stars

Thank you for your feedback, Cody. We were able to identify the issue causing large downloads to stall, and this is fixed in the latest release. You should now be able to download large files >1GB over a stable WiFi or mobile data connection.
