goMission is a habit app that parents and children use together — from primary school through the teenage years.
Some things don't change no matter how often you say them. Move those words out of nagging and into a mission.
Parents and children agree on the rules together. The child records what they've done, the parent confirms it,
and points follow. Those points become "wish coupons" — the things your child actually wants.
■ When talking stops working
As children reach their teens, being told what to do works even less. So goMission is not a tool for parents to
set rules and check up alone. You agree on the rules together, settle in advance what each thing is worth, and
keep a record of what was done. Instead of "why didn't you do it," the conversation starts from "what we agreed."
Habits built by agreement, not control — that is how this app works.
■ How it works
1. A parent creates a family and invites the child with an invite code.
2. Together you agree on rules and register them as missions (waking up, homework, tidying, screen time).
3. The child submits what they've done — tap to check in, take a photo, or run a timer.
4. The parent reviews and approves, and points are added.
5. The child redeems the points for a wish coupon and uses it with the parent.
■ What makes it different
· Evidence, not arguments — pick from five kinds: self-report, check-in, photo, screenshot, timer.
Photo evidence must be taken with the camera. Pictures from the gallery won't pass.
· The reward is unambiguous — parents set what one coupon is worth, per child.
Set it to "one hour of games" and everyone knows what a given number of points buys, from day one.
· It handles what went wrong too — not only successes. There are penalty rules, and a record of
whether a penalty was resolved or waived.
· A parent can record on behalf of a younger child. You can start without giving your child a phone.
■ Features
· Missions with five kinds of evidence, daily/weekly/one-off, visible days and expiry dates
· Mission lists — swap the whole list between term time and vacation
· Rules — score success, misses and overruns separately for each mission
· Parent approval and rejection, points applied automatically, rejection notices
· Wish coupons — coupon value can be set for each child
· Stats — 30-day point trend, points by weekday, points gained and lost, approved/rejected/pending
· History — every approval and rejection in order
· Timetables and daily routines — vacation, school and personal schedules the family shares
· Home screen widget — today's missions at a glance, without unlocking the app
· Streaks that make habits visible
· Korean and English — switch any time from My Info
■ How we handle children's data
· A child's photos and records are visible only inside the family. No public feed, no rankings.
· The app does not ask for location permission.
· Children under 14 need a guardian's consent to use the service.
· You can delete your account inside the app, and the records go with it.
