Collecto is a survey of harvest data from partner agricultural companies as part of the collective Hay and Pasture harvest insurance protection. The information is collected for harvested hay, in all its formats, with the exception of forage corn. No minimum or maximum area is required to qualify. The use of the Collecto application allows, at the end of the season, to obtain an assessment of your hay harvests and to compare you from year to year, but also with the market.
By joining, you contribute to adjusting the benchmark forage yields in Québec. The information is then used by the Financière Agricole du Québec (FADQ) as part of the Harvest Insurance (ASREC).
It is the agricultural business producing fodder that owns or rents the land that must register the business in the Collecto application. A mobile phone number will be required to log in. If this number is in the company's file, the application will automatically give you access to the file. Otherwise, contact us by email at collecto@cecpa.qc.ca, or by phone at 418-833-2515 ext. 228 to obtain access.
