About this app

Pilotos is the app for drivers of Cometta, the delivery service for businesses in Colombia. With it, you take orders, pick them up at the store, deliver them to the customer, and keep track of your earnings.

With Pilotos you can:
- Start and end your shift whenever you want.

- See orders ready for pickup on the map and choose the one that suits you best.

- Track each order step by step: arrive at the store, pick up the order, leave for delivery, and deliver it.

- Open the route in Google Maps or Waze, and call or message the customer via WhatsApp.

- Know how much to charge, which payment methods to accept, and whether the order requires a card reader.

- Take a delivery photo when the order requests it.

- Continue working even without a signal: your entries are saved and sent when the connection is restored.

- Review your history and earnings by date.

- Use the app in light or dark mode.

Your location during your shift
While your shift is in progress, Pilotos collects your location, even in the background with the app closed or the screen off. We use this information to offer you nearby orders, guide you to pickups and deliveries, and show the business and the customer the status of their order. While your shift is active, you'll see a persistent notification, which you can also use to end it. When you're stopped, the app turns off GPS to conserve battery. We stop collecting your location once your shift ends.
