About this app

Cut the Cake is for the person throwing the party. Send a beautiful
invitation, watch the replies land, and know your headcount.

Design the page your guests see — the words, the colors, the cover — and watch it change as you edit. Guests answer on their phone, add photos to a shared album, sign the guestbook and pick the music.

On the day: seating, nametags, meal counts, and a photo booth you can run on a tablet at the door.

An account is required. Your first event is free, with invitations to 50
addresses. Hosting more than one event requires a subscription.

Cut the Cake is built for events in the United States. Addresses, ZIP codes
and the guest map assume US locations.

What’s new

Cut the Cake 1.1 is simpler to set up and adds in-app and email notifications. Every feature has one place, the Features page, and a new event starts with RSVP alone. Check-in at the door is a feature of its own. The date and time sit on one card, and your cover keeps the frame you set everywhere. The bell and your email point out a draft close to its date and invitations with no answer yet. You can pick guests from your contacts. Signing in is easier.
