WHY THIS EXISTS
Built in Cali, Colombia in the days after the magnitude 7.4 earthquake of August 2026, by someone
whose home was damaged by it β because the difference between knowing and not knowing is measured in
seconds.
HOW FAST IS IT?
Alerts arrive as quickly as global seismic networks publish an earthquake solution. For distant
events, that is often before the shaking reaches you. For an earthquake beneath your feet, no system
on Earth β including this one β can warn you in advance. The app tells you honestly which situation
you are in.
* Critical alerts require permissions the app guides you through during setup.

This app does not predict earthquakes; no technology can. It reports earthquakes that have already
occurred and estimates their effects. Official sources: the U.S. Geological Survey

Colombia the Servicio GeolΓ³gico Colombiano (sgc.gov.co). Alerts and intensity estimates are
