About this app

Learn languages by talking to real people and keep the words that matter.

FlashTalk is a calmer kind of language exchange. Find practice partners who share your language goals, start with a prompt, and turn real conversations into useful review.

MEET THROUGH AVATARS FIRST

Build your identity around a customizable creature, your intent, and the languages you speak and learn. Start with purpose—not a photo-first grid.

TALK IN THE WAY THAT FITS

Send messages or voice notes when you have time. Translation and corrections help you keep going when the right words do not come easily.

CATCH WORDS IN CONTEXT

When a useful word appears in chat, save it with the sentence that gave it meaning. Your flashcards come from real conversations, so review stays relevant.

KEEP YOUR PROGRESS CLOSE

Review words, revisit where they came from, and see your confidence build over time. Every review is connected to something you actually said.

CHOOSE YOUR BOUNDARIES

Set your intent and contact preferences so you decide who can reach you. Discovery stays avatar-first; photo sharing is optional and mutual inside an existing conversation.

Whether you are learning for travel, friendship, culture, or everyday confidence, FlashTalk helps turn small conversations into lasting progress.

Start with one language. One hello. One word worth keeping.
