About this app

Focus Wall blocks the apps and sites that eat your day, automatically, the moment your calendar says it is time to work.

Most blockers make you remember to turn them on. Focus Wall reads your calendar and does it for you: the instant a "Deep Work" or "Focus" block starts, your chosen apps and websites are shielded. No toggle, no willpower required at 9am.

CALENDAR-AWARE BLOCKING
Connect your calendar once. Focus Wall watches for focus sessions and switches blocking on and off automatically around them.

BLOCKS APPS AND WEBSITES TOGETHER
Pick a preset pack (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more) or add your own. Apps are shielded the moment they open; websites are blocked in every browser at once.

HOW WEBSITE BLOCKING WORKS (VPN)
To block websites in every browser, Focus Wall uses Android's VpnService to run a local VPN on your phone. It only handles website lookups (DNS): sites on your block list get a "not found" answer, and every other lookup goes to your normal provider unchanged. The VPN runs entirely on the device, with no Focus Wall server at the other end. Focus Wall does not log, store, sell or share your browsing, and never redirects or modifies traffic for ads or money. It is on only while a block is running, and Focus Wall asks for your consent before Android's own VPN prompt.

LOCK IT AND MEAN IT
Lock a session and there is no way out until the timer ends. Or leave it open and stop whenever you like. Your call, made while you are still thinking clearly.

PAIN TAX: PUT A REAL STAKE ON IT
Optional, and entirely opt-in. Set an amount before a session starts. Break the block early and you forfeit the stake. Real financial friction against your future self, not a guilt trip. Card capture happens securely on the web; Focus Wall never sees or stores your card details.

DOOMSCROLL RADAR
Get a nudge when you have quietly burned an hour scrolling outside a scheduled session, before it becomes the whole afternoon.

WORKS WITH THE MAC AND WINDOWS APP
Sign into the same account on desktop and phone. Focus Now, schedules and stakes stay in sync across all of them.

Free: manual focus sessions, up to 5 blocked apps or sites.
Pro: unlimited apps and sites, calendar auto-blocking, Pain Tax, doomscroll radar and full desktop sync.

The focus app that charges you when you cheat.

FOCUS WALL PRO
Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, that unlocks unlimited sites and apps, schedules, Google Calendar blocking and Pain Tax on every device you sign into. It renews until cancelled in your Google Play subscriptions. Already Pro on your Mac? Sign in or enter your licence key.

What’s new

One wall on every device: start a session on your phone, Mac or iPhone and they all block together, then all open together.
Schedules can now have several windows a day, in 15-minute steps.
Pick a service once and both its app and its website are blocked.
Blocks lift on time by themselves, and moving the clock forward no longer ends one early.
