FontMaker Studio turns your handwriting into a real font. Draw each letter once with your finger or a stylus, or write on paper and scan the page: the app builds a true TrueType font file, to type with on your computer in Word, Pages or LibreOffice, and in the apps that import fonts.
THREE WAYS TO START
- Draw: letter by letter on writing lines, with a stylus or your finger.
- Print the grid: write each letter in its box with your favourite pen, then scan the sheet. FontMaker finds every box on its own.
- Photograph a page: a page you already wrote, letters apart. Your phone reads it and puts each letter in its place.
A FONT THAT LOOKS HANDWRITTEN
- Up to three forms per letter, alternated as you type, so a letter never repeats exactly.
- Accents built for you: draw each accent once and every accented letter follows.
- Size, height and spacing, adjustable letter by letter.
- Automatic kerning that measures every pair of letters, plus the pairs you set by hand.
- Live proofs on a card, an invitation, a notebook page or your own text.

- Export the .ttf file for your Windows PC or your Mac, and for the apps that import fonts.
- Share a picture of your text.
- Android does not let an app install a font for the whole phone: FontMaker says so plainly and hands you the file.
