Most money apps assume you're managing alone. Cilantro is built for two. It pulls both your accounts together, recaps every trip automatically, and quietly catches the charges that are off - without nags or budget rituals.

BUILT FOR COUPLES
Invite your partner. Joint cards show up for both of you; private cards stay private - you choose, per account. Spotted a charge you don't recognize on a shared card? Tap the flag and ask your partner about it directly: they see your note, they reply, all inside the app. Trips you take together turn into one shared recap that both of you see.

TRIPS, AUTOMATICALLY
When you travel, Cilantro detects the trip from your lodging charges and tracks it in real time. A LIVE card shows what you've spent so far, what's normal vs. high, and how today compares to the days before. When you get home, the recap sums it up - top categories, top merchants, anything "worth a look," and the full transaction list, scrollable.

CATCHES WHAT YOUR STATEMENTS HIDE

• Recurring-bill change tracking: when PG&E, your rent, or a subscription quietly creeps up.

INCOME THAT DOESN'T BEHAVE LIKE SALARY
Sales rep, consultant, freelancer? Cilantro detects when your income comes in lumps and shows you something a salaried view can't: where this month is pacing against your last 12 - one line: "pacing for ~$67.6k, typical for you." Tap any month to scrub through deposits; mark refunds or transfers that aren't really income. Auto-detected - salaried users never see it.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES, PLAINLY
Categories sorted by share. Tap any category to see the underlying transactions. Tap any merchant to see every charge from them. The Activity tab adds Trends (6-month direction), Money flow ("31% saved this month"), and Where (a map of every charge by city).

OUTLOOK FOR WHAT'S COMING
Bills due. Subscription renewals. Recent changes. The Upcoming tab answers "what hits my account this week?" before it does.

PRIVACY & CONTROL
Bank connections via Plaid - a secure read-only integration. Cilantro never sees your password, never moves money, and never sells your data. Per-account sharing controls: choose which accounts your partner can see. Optional biometric lock (fingerprint or face unlock) when the app launches. Hide balances with one tap. Full account deletion in Settings, with a 30-day window to change your mind.
