This game is honestly so slept on, and I think it needs way more attention in the rhythm game sphere. Plus, with the introduction of flicks and slides, I can see game play getting much more dynamic when 2.0 arrives! The criticism of it not being super thumb friendly in later charts does hold water, but not every game needs to be. I will concede that the older charts need a face lift and more songs should have Expert charts, but other than that, this game is nothing short of a sleeper hit game.

Overall alright. The UI looks very nice and the gameplay is smooth. Charting is good. Unfortunately, the soundtrack (at least what you get for free) is unremarkable and progression grinds to a halt early on. There wasn't really any songs I felt like I wanted to come back and play just to hear, and there wasn't any chart sections that gave me that insane satisfying feeling that other rhythm games can. Basically, the game is alright. It's lukewarm at best, but you could still probably enjoy it.

I really love this game since I'm a rhythm game enthusiast. I do notice that it's lags a little on my low end device, yes I know I have a low end device but Arcaea doesn't like at all and I really love it. So if you make it not to lag on low end devices are really love that. I know that it's a selfish request for me to ask such a thing since game development takes a very very long time, but I just wanted to point it out. Thanks for reading.
