About this app

Slippy is a simple, fast, and reliable Point of Sale app built for hotels and food stalls in India.

No internet? No problem. Slippy works fully offline — take orders, print bills, and manage your shift even without a connection. Internet is only needed for the first login and menu sync.

── BILLING MADE SIMPLE ──
Tap items to add them to the order. Choose Cash or UPI. Print the bill instantly. That's it.

Items are organized by category with a clean grid layout. Unavailable items can be toggled off with a long press. The order sheet slides up with a single tap showing itemized totals, GST, and the final amount.

── THERMAL PRINTER SUPPORT ──
Connect any ESC/POS thermal printer over Bluetooth or WiFi/LAN. Supports 58mm and 80mm paper sizes. Printer reconnects automatically if disconnected.

── GST READY ──
Enable GST per category. The app calculates inclusive GST automatically — the total never changes, only the breakdown is shown. Supports 5%, 12%, and 18% rates with CGST + SGST split on every bill.

── SPLIT BILLING ──
Running a hotel with separate food and beverage billing? Slippy automatically splits the bill into two receipts — one for food, one for beverages — with distinct order numbers.

── MENU MANAGEMENT ──
Add, edit, and organise your menu directly from the app. Create multiple menu profiles (e.g. Hotel, Restaurant) and switch between them in Settings. Export your menu as JSON anytime. Mark categories as beverage for split billing.

── TEAM MANAGEMENT ──
Cashier starts and settles their own shift. Shift reports show bills, cash, UPI totals, and a category-wise breakdown. Cashiers can send their settlement summary to the owner on WhatsApp.

── OWNER REPORTS ON A SECOND DEVICE ──
Give the owner or manager a view-only login on a separate phone or tablet. They can monitor live sales, browse shift-wise reports for each billing device, and share daily summaries — without touching the billing device at all. Reports are available for the last 7 days.

── REPORTS ──
Daily and shift-level reports available to admin. View total bills, cash, UPI, and sales by category. Print reports directly to your thermal printer.

── VOICE ORDERING ──
Use push-to-talk voice ordering to add items hands-free. Slippy fuzzy-matches what you say to the nearest menu item and shows a confirmation before adding to the order.

── SECURE & SUBSCRIPTION-BASED ──
Your account is tied to one device. PINs protect admin and cashier access. Subscription is managed by your Slippy operator — contact them to activate or renew.
